Justin and Hailey Bieber have welcomed their first child in the U.S.

 Pop star Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Bieber announced the birth of their first child on Friday.

The 30-year-old Justin and 27-year-old Hailey first revealed their pregnancy in May. At that time, a representative for Hailey told "Entertainment Tonight" that she was around six months along.

Hailey mentioned in a GQ interview last year that she was looking forward to motherhood, describing it as a private and intimate journey. She also shared with W magazine in July that she had kept the pregnancy news under wraps to maintain her privacy.

"I managed to keep it quiet for a while because I stayed small," Hailey said. "I didn't show much until I was six months pregnant, which is when I made the announcement. I wore oversized jackets and other loose clothing to keep it discreet."

Justin has frequently expressed his desire to start a family in social media posts and interviews. The couple has been married since 2018.
