Jennifer Lopez has filed for divorce from Ben Affleck.

 After more than two years of marriage, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have decided to part ways once again. 

Lopez filed for divorce on Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, as confirmed by court documents. According to a source close to Lopez, the couple did not have a prenuptial agreement.

TMZ was the first to break the news of the divorce filing.

The pair, who had rekindled their romance the previous year, finally tied the knot in July 2022 after a long-awaited reunion.

Lopez and Affleck were engaged in the early 2000s but ended their relationship before they could marry, leading to a 17-year separation.

During that time, Lopez was married to singer Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014, with whom she has two children. She was also engaged to New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez in 2019, but they ended their relationship in 2021.

Overall, Lopez has been married four times.

During this period, Affleck was married to actress Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018, and they have three children together.

Lopez and Affleck first met on the set of "Gigli" in 2002, and by November of that year, they were engaged. However, they announced their split in 2004.

After her separation from Rodriguez in 2021, Lopez was frequently seen with Affleck, sparking speculation that they had rekindled their romance.

In April 2022, Lopez announced her engagement to Affleck once again, marking a reunion 20 years after their initial engagement. They married on July 16, 2022, with a marriage license obtained from Clark County, Nevada. The couple wed in Las Vegas, arriving at the chapel just before midnight to wait in line with four other couples. However, by May, rumors began circulating about trouble in their marriage. Tabloids reported that the couple had not been seen together in weeks, that Affleck had moved out of their home, which was subsequently put up for sale, and that he had relocated to his own residence.
